baby making
In progress! The sculpting kind- not the other kind! 😉
Still a lot of tweaking to do.. More since I have seen a photo of him/her. Seems like it is easier to notice problems than looking at the actual doll. 🙂
For example: his/her mouth still needs working on. I am thinking of fixing her eyes too. And some chubbier cheeks. We will see how it works out.
What do you think?
How do you like my sculpting space? (aka my bed) haha. 🙂
in wonderland
I have been absent yet again. Down the rabbit hole!!
Was inspired to post after seeing a gorgeous little alice by master artist gail lackey. I really love her sculpts. She dabbles in these little dolls and their untimely demise. Each one comes with its own story and little friends! So cute.
Check out her alice:
Take a look at all the detailing in her clothes and her rabbit! I love her little zombie boys and girls.

As for me, I am going to start a new baby sculpt soon. 😉 I will try to document the sculpting of this baby ao that I can share it with you all!
inspiration
Ever since I started sculpting I have taken notice at the numerous talented artists out there.
Just baby doll sculptors alone are many. What has intrigued me as of late are the sculptors of other types of “dolls”. I have found so many adorable fairy artists, little zombie dolls, and other oddities. They are so very fascinating!!
I thought I would share some of my favorites in the coming posts- because we can find inspiration in all types of creativity no?
Today I am sharing one of my favorite artiats. Her blog name is Nekranea, and she is one talented lady!! Her sculpts are so imaginative and a a mix of needlefelting and clay.
Here are some of my favorites:
Pretty amazing right??
Visit her blog for more of her gorgeous sculpts and her beautiful digital artwork.
